Double Chocolate Fruit Puff Pastry

Hiya! Today was the A Levels results day, and to all those that received their results, I hope you all got what you wanted, but if you didn't then honestly it's okay, just never give up, look for other options like an apprenticeship, or just continue doing what you enjoy.  I know it's not as easy as it sounds but don't dwell yourself in sorrow, and instead get up and do better, make yourself happy! You can't always love up to people's expectations, so instead create your own goals because you know how much to push yourself. Just in case you lovelies may be wondering, my results were okay, but Alhumdulillah I got a place in the university I wanted to go to, and also study a course I'm really looking forward to which is Media and Communication.

Now that I've caught up with the catch ups, let's get straight into the food post. This is quick 10 minutes preparation with a 20 minutes bake kind of recipe. And gosh! It was freaking delicious, I hope you guys enjoy making it too.

Ingredients:

Puff Pastry
Nutella/Hazelnut Spread
Banana
Icing Sugar
Flake

Method:

1) Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 6.

2) Unroll the Puff Pastry, and cut the sheet into four sections as shown below.

3) Then cut each section into two triangles like shown in the image.

4) Take each triangle, and place them one by one on a baking sheet, in a round shape.

5) Scoop 2-3 spoonful of Nutella or Hazelnut Spread into a bowl, and melt it in the microwave for 30-45 seconds, or you can melt it using the cooker, and by placing the bowl on top of a boiling water.

6) Spread the melted chocolate on each triangle.

7) Before opening the flake packet, lightly crush the chocolate by using your hand.

8) Open the packet and sprinkle the chocolate flakes around the each of each triangle.

9) Cut some bananas up, and place them around on top of the chocolate flakes. At this point, you can add strawberries to if you want to.

10) One by one, fold each triangle by placing the tip of the triangles into the middle.

11) Whisk one egg, and brush it over the pastry.

12) Leave the pastry in the oven to bake for 20-25 minutes, however, I would recommend checking after 15 minutes simple because ovens vary upon one another.

13) Once the puff pastry is done, cut each piece up, and place them on a plate.

14) Lastly, drizzle some melted chocolate, and sprinkle some icing sugar on top.

Hope I explained well, if not then I did find this recipe through Tasty Food, so you can search it up and hopefully the video may help even more because I know it helped me. Do comment whether you are planning to make it, and if you do decide to make it, then do come back and comment how it went! Thank you amours!
